KAHI KAI IMAGES, part of the non-profit KAHI KAI ("unique Ocean" in hawaiian), is a marine image database featuring unique portraits of sea creatures as well as a large variety of images that reflect life in, on or near the oceans. All portrayed animals have been handled carefully and released into their original habitats right after the photo session.

KAHI KAI IMAGES charges a license fee for the use of our photos for your project or publication. License fees are tailor made (Rights-managed), determined by various factors such as the publication medium, photo size, geographical distribution etc. If you are student, educator, artist, an NGO or non-profit organization and would like to use one of our images for non-profit purposes, please contact us.

100% of the earnings of this image database will be used by the non-profits KAHI KAI. Since 2009 KAHI KAI is involved in various global educational and scientific projects and promotes the knowledge and the conscience of our ocean legacy to the public, the politicians and deciders in order to make each of us aware of the importance of the oceans for our life and appeal to our responsibility to preserve the threatened marine world.
